February 24-

Ithaca Beer Company Press Conference

Dan Mitchell, President of Ithaca Beer Company and Rick Pedersen of Pedersen Farms have announced an exciting New York hop project.

Ithaca Beer Company has developed a Double IPA brew using only New York Hops from Pedersen Farms in Seneca Castle.   The beer has an intense floral aroma and distinctive  hop flavor with citrus undertones, attributed to the blend of Cascade, Mt. Hood and Willamette hops used.  The hops may be especially flavorful due to the minimal processing and short time from field to brew kettle that can only be achieved by using locally grown hops.  The beer will be available on draft only this spring at selected bars and pubs across the Finger Lakes region including MacGregor's Grill and Tap Room and Clark's Ale House in Syracuse.     Press Release
